Augusta Ranch is running a public event calendar
The golf club at 2401 S Lansing has four public events booked over the next two weeks, starting with glowball night golf Saturday.

East Mesa is not short on golf. Las Sendas has the Robert Trent Jones Jr. course that opened in 1995, Red Mountain Ranch has its own layout, and Sunland Springs Village runs 27 holes for residents. Augusta Ranch is the one currently putting trivia and live music on the same calendar as tee times, which makes it one of the few east-side venues programming for the 55+ corridor and for families in the same week.
Watch for: the September 12 concert is the only listing more than two weeks out, so it is the one worth putting on the calendar now.

🏗️ Eastmark corridor and dev watch
What is getting built along Ellsworth, Signal Butte, and the East Mesa industrial corridor. Three items land on Monday's council agenda.
- 🗺️ 196.3 acres at Ellsworth and Williams Field come into the city. Council takes up the annexation ordinance (the step that brings county land inside Mesa's boundary) for the parcel at the northeast corner. Pacific Proving LLC and Mesa BA Land LLC are the owners; Gammage and Burnham is handling it. This is the companion filing to the rezone on the same land. Details.
- 🏊 Both new aquatic complexes go to the same builder. Staff recommends Sun Eagle Corporation as construction manager at risk for the Eastmark Aquatic Complex in District 6 and the Red Mountain Aquatic Complex in District 5, at $136,295 each. The contracts cover pre-construction work: cost estimates, phasing plans, and a guaranteed maximum price. One pool on each end of East Mesa, same firm, same night.
