🛒 A new Aldi is headed to Elliot Road. The grocery chain filed for a beer and wine license at 6853 E Elliot Road, where no store license exists today. The filing goes to City Council on July 27, an early sign a new Aldi is coming to the corner. Details.
🚗 Ellsworth Road could drop to a flat 45 mph. A proposed ordinance would lower the stretch south of Elliot from 50 to 45, making Ellsworth a continuous 45 mph all the way through Mesa. It reaches Council on August 17. Details.
