Two East Mesa development projects go before Mesa's Design Review Board on Tuesday, June 9, and the bigger one is a hotel.

- 🏨 Longbow Mixed-Use. A hotel and future commercial space on 3.3 acres, about 1,700 feet west of Recker Road and Longbow Parkway. District 5. Staff recommends approval with conditions. Details.

The Longbow site sits in the business-park corridor near Falcon Field, where Boeing and a cluster of aviation employers anchor northeast Mesa. A hotel on that stretch would serve airport traffic and the Longbow office parks. Design review (a check on how a building looks and fits its site, not whether it gets built) is one step in a longer approval path.
